Aleksander Vitkin – My Origin Story: From Nothing To Business Success
In this article, I have a special topic I’m going to write about. I’ve been asked several times, by my subscribers, about where I come from. Having had twenty of you guys ask me now, I’ve decided to tell you.
This can benefit you, if you’re in a shitty situation, and you think that you don’t have the opportunities in front of you, to be successful, and run a successful business. If you have this mentality, what I’m going to tell you, will help you out.
I was born in communist Russia, and it was a shithole. We lived next to a military training ground, and we weren’t allowed on the street, because it was too dangerous: regularly cars would be set on fire, and all kinds of other stuff.
Regardless, we got the hell out of there. Communism ended, so went to different countries, and moved around, from one country to the next. We ended up in Belgium, and I went through the normal high school, primary school, and college. All that bullshit social conditioning, that everyone does.
I could never fit in, because I didn’t want the same thing everyone else wanted. In high school for example, they did a survey, where they asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. Everyone else wrote something different to me. Their goal was to get a wife, a house, a dog, and a stable job. That’s what everyone literally wanted. I was there, and my goal was to make money, and the teacher said: “Aleks, happiness doesn’t come from money”, and I responded with how would you know? You aren’t rich.
Then the whole class ganged up on me, questioning the belief system that I had, and calling me: “a socialist little shit”.
I then went off to college, and drifted towards the business stuff, as it seemed like the right thing to do. My mother was in business in Russia, so it seemed natural to get into that, it seemed like the way to freedom. It kind of boring in college, I didn’t really learn anything in college, and I skipped most of the classes, but it kind of worked out, I have two marketing degrees.
What I did do, was read a lot of books, so when everyone else was doing whatever, I was either playing video games, or reading books about business. Even at my internship, I was reading books half the time. I had audio books playing through my ear piece, and I read all these books about business, and watched all these seminars by Eben Pagan, my first business mentor, and I learned all these things, which actually helped me later on in business.
I started from scratch, living in a shitty country, having no real background in business (my father owned a really small one). What ended up happening was the two years following college, I tried starting my own business, and it kind of worked, some revenue was coming in. I was still making a loss over all (taxes in Belgium are very high), and it sucked, I didn’t really like it.
After two years, I finally achieved a level of success. I got mentors, and it finally caught up with me, and I got the opportunity to travel the world. I went to the United States, where I went to all these marketing seminars in the United States, met all these big name marketers, and I learnt all these things.
I was even a marketing director for a medium sized American company for a while, some of you may have heard about it, but it doesn’t really matter. Then I decided to think back, about what I needed to get myself started. I needed mentors, and a group of people who knew what they were doing, and were in the same boat as me, as well an implementing the same stuff.
I decided that I can be that mentor for other people now, and create it for them. The third thing I never had, was a working business model, that really clicks with people (it’s proven, and it just works). I decided to create that environment, based upon what I needed a few years ago (6 years), and upon what people tell me they need. That’s why I created the daily business hustle, it’s been around for about a year now.
We have created dozens of entrepreneurs in this year already, and it’s going really really well. Our business models has been tested our properly. The people who teach the models, are the same people that implemented. I strongly believe in people teaching stuff, that they do themselves, and not just reading a book or something. Not that there’s anything wrong with reading a book.
I’m trying to create these opportunities for people now, and my mission is to have you skip all those years of failure, and skip all those years of grinding it out, without any help (you might read a book, or watch a few videos). I want to give you the help, you really need to start a business, because I really believe in entrepreneurship.
I believe that people need to be able to get out of that grind, that social conditioning, that safety net that I’ve talked about in some of my other videos, and get in touch with entrepreneurship, which is the real adventure in life. You actually create something, which creates value, not just walk around, go do your job, and work for someone else.
I’m really working on helping people create that in their life, because I was able to create that in my life, and now it’s time to give back. That’s basically the current story of me basically, and the daily business hustle.
