How To Make Money On YouTube (Even if You Don’t Have a Business Yet)

In this article, you will learn how to make money on YouTube in a ridiculously FAST and efficient way, even before you have to have a fully operational company or anything of this nature. Whether you’re using a brand new YouTube channel that you just started or wish to convert your existing one into a money-making enterprise, you can trust with this method that you will likely see a quick and rewarding return on your investment in a very short period of time.

Make Money On YouTube – The Basic Outline

The basic outline of your business should be a follows: you record a large amount of videos in a short period of time, generating viewership and leads for your eventual sales, then begin selling.

Your subject matter will probably be something that you can coach others on (fitness or marketing, for example) or a service you can provide for others over the web such as graphic art or video editing.

Once you have a suitable number leads to reach out to, you make calls to them through Skype or directly over the phone. Sell them coaching sessions on your chosen product or service and build a nice clientele while accumulating a stable income from your sales.

Once you have a good number of clients, you can convert those customers into members of a “mastermind” group, all of whom pay by the month rather than per coaching call.

The Advantages Come Early

With this, you develop a long-term business for yourself, a recurring income (by the month), and a group of clients you can be proud of for their level of engagement and implementation in your chosen niche – you would have coached them to this point yourself!

I’ve been using this model for several months myself by helping dozens of people start their own business through YouTube, sales, coaching, and creating their own masterminds. In fact, the method I’m describing to you is my niche in action. The vast majority of my mastermind members essentially replicate my business model to great success.

Begin By Creating A Lot Of Content

The first 30 days, you start with creating videos at an extremely rapid rate. I did one video per day, which I suggest as the ideal number, but I may be an outlier in this regard because I came into this model with an obscene amount of commitment and time on my hands. If you can’t do one a day for whatever reason, I recommend at least three videos per week.

It may sound daunting, but you can do this in a one-hour filming session, recording a three videos back-to-back, as I illustrate in another video. You don’t need a hyper-specific topic on each video; you can just record whatever it is on your mind that pertains to your niche. If you aren’t good off-the-cuff, take a few notes before each filming session on a few subjects you’d like to speak about and then record.

Next, Engage Your Audience

After 30 days of regular video recording and practice speaking in front of a camera with limited preparation, you can start a new habit with your budding YouTube business. You can start talking with your audience: find out what they will pay you for. What are their urgent needs in your particular market that aren’t getting met, and how much will they compensate you for solving these problems? Ask them.

I actually started doing this actually after week 2. Now, I did have 6 years of marketing experience, but nonetheless I implemented the method – finding out what my niche wants from me. I literally just posted a question on my Facebook wall – “Hey, I’ve been doing these videos, and you guys seem to be liking them… what would you like to learn about starting your own online business?”

You can still read this question (and its subsequent answers) on my Facebook wall to this day. Better yet, I can tell you that on that same day, within five minutes, I had my first $50 from my new YouTube business. Before the end of business hours, I had $250 worth of sales.

Gather Data On Your Customer’s Needs Through Engagement

You reach out to new leads generating by YouTube or Facebook with short, respectful messages about their vision for success. An example of a common online approach to a lead would be something to this effect: “”Thanks for checking out my stuff, let’s connect on facebook.com/alexander.vitkin and Skype: Alexander.Vitkin”

As you perform your coaching calls with your sales, you’re gathering MASSIVE data on what your niche wants and what they’re willing to compensate you for. As time goes on, you will become an expert in your audience’s desires.

With this comes better and more targeted content from you and a happier customer base for your company in your niche.

I kept making about $250 on average for the next 30 days just doing $50/hour coaching calls before upgrading my price point to $100 an hour. This was great for a while, but my clients simply weren’t implementing to the level I felt they should – not only for the amount of money they were paying me, but for their own future success.

Create A Mastermind To Benefit Everyone

So, I created a mastermind, therefore giving daily support to each member while also creating a community of hardcore motivators pushing each other at the same time. The people in your mastermind will usually be comprised of the sales you’ve closed from YouTube and Facebook leads, and centered around the primary industry of your niche.

You’ve done the coaching calls with them, around $50-$100 an hour, and now you funnel them into the mastermind for a recurring income for you and a motivated team of co-workers for them. Everybody’s happy.

This model will only work if you deliver quality services on all fronts, of course. Your coaching, your sales, and your mastermind engagement should be of the highest order and you should always be listening to your customers.

However, the good news is that you can learn as you go along, gathering more data and calibrating your work towards your ideal audience. Feel free to get in contact with me about further ways to take advantage of this model, and we can continue to expand on the possibilities at hand.
