When people start a business, they think that the most important thing is what to sell. In fact, it is not just about what to sell. There are multiple levels of marketing and all these levels need to fit together.

If you don’t make the product fit together with where you are selling it, it’s not likely it is going to be a hit. But, if you know that there is a demand for a certain service and then you create the service or the product, then it’s a lot easier to create the match.

If you know where to start and which funnels you are going to use, you will know which markets you are going to reach.

Look at the market, figure out what exactly is in demand and how many people you can reach and then figure out an offer for that market. I spent years offering stuff to people that they don’t really need until I figured out that I can get them on calls and find a perfect message and platform.

In reality, Upwork is a 3 billion dollar company and it is the biggest marketplace for service in the world. There are tons of jobs and companies and there is infinite amount of projects.

There are a lot of people that you can market to and you are selecting the best ones and you are getting them on sales calls so that you can close them. You can close some really high ticket sales.

Upwork don’t approve any freelancer right now, so make sure you have a pretty good profile and a high end service to offer.

The next platform that you should get into is LinkedIn. People usually use it to get jobs. However, we use LinkedIn as a landing page to get people on calls. LinkedIn is fantastic especially if you want to sell to big companies. The best way to do LinkedIn is to first build an audience and then do content marketing.

The third funnel is Fiverr. That is a professional service platform competing with Upwork. You start off with a trip wire offer. Then, you should get people on calls and sell high ticket sales.

I have seen people go from tiny agencies and barely surviving to doing hundreds of dollars. The upside is huge if you can make these platforms work for you. They are amazing tools that you should definitely start using them to grow your business.
