How Jean Michel Got His First $13000 Month Selling Ads And Funnels

I wanted to share with you Jean-Michael’s story. Jean is a member of BMI and last month his marketing agency turned over $13K. Jean’s agency helps business owners with customer acquisition, they essentially help clients to get more traffic to their websites and make more sales. This is his story about how he built his business and managed to achieve this great result.

What Has BMI Taught Jean?

According to Jean, the most important skill that he has learned through BMI is how to sell. Jean was able to implement online sales funnels to get clients on to calls, and then to convert them to paying customers. His agency now has clients from all over the world. Jean says that before BMI he wasn’t a confident salesperson and his lack of sales skills was really adversely affecting his business and its ability to grow. He has now implemented a tried and tested sales funnel for his business and is adding new clients on a regular basis.

Learning how to hire the right people was another key lesson for Jean. He says that selecting the right people is perhaps the most crucial decision you will have to make as an agency owner. If you do not possess this skill, you will have a very hard time in business. Jean says that if you hire the wrong people, then no matter what you do, what techniques you use, or what efforts you put in, it is not going to make very much difference. 

Almost all of your problems as a manager come from either selecting the wrong people. You have to interview the people you are hiring to identify whether they are a good fit for your business or not. Jean advises other managers and owners to give potential employees a test to see their speed of implementation and how they perform. Also, ask to see their portfolio to prove they know what they say they do. Learning the best way to hire people from BMI alone was worth joining he says.

BMI also helped Jean to learn how to more effectively manage projects. Learning how to implement systems into his business and automate certain tasks with software and with freelancer partners has helped him to scale up his business. He now spends most of his time managing projects and liaising with clients, leaving the project delivery to his employees and freelancer partners.

Where Is Jean Now?

After participating in BMI Jean says that he is now much more organized in how he goes about his work. He is now able to maximize his time and work on the most important parts of his business. When he started BMI he was making less than $2K per month, and now he is making $13K per month, with 60-70% profit margins. Jean puts his success down to what he has learned through BMI – specifically sales and marketing skills. 

He now sees himself as a business owner instead of a freelancer – his business can now largely operate independently of himself because of the people he has been able to hire. He loves how he is able to help clients with their problems and provide genuine value to them.

Who Would Jean Recommend BMI to?

Jean says you should only join BMI if you are fully willing to commit to the program. It requires time and hard work. There is no half in, you must be prepared to go all in. There will be roadblocks that you will need to overcome, so you must be the type of person that always looks for solutions and won’t just give up at the first sign of trouble.
