How An Unknown Amateur Set A New Standard Of What’s Possible – How To Do The Impossible In Business
In 1954, it was considered impossible to run a mile in 4 minutes or under. That was until Roger Bannister came on the Iffley track, in Oxford, and just ran it. It wasn’t even a professional event, but he just ran it.
One year a later at the Olympics, a bunch of athletes ran a mile in under 4 minutes, because they saw Roger do it on TV, and all of a sudden they could do it. In business it’s very similar, this article is for you, if you’re starting a new habit, a new process in your business, or building a business, and you just can’t implement it.
You fail to implement it, because you can’t develop the habit, and you haven’t seen anyone else do it. There’s a solution to this, and this is why I actually started my own mastermind a while ago, and the solution is to go and find the people who’ve done it.
Now we can’t all be Roger Bannister, we can’t all be innovators, and invent stuff from scratch. We need to be influenced by others. If you let yourself be influenced by others, by innovators, by others who have done it before, by others who do it every single day, you’ll find that any new process, any new skill that you’re learning in your business, it’s possible to do it. Even though before, you’ve been surrounded by people who told you no, people who told you it’s not going to happen, by people who told you that you can’t do it, and people who told you just to settle with less.
If you surround yourself with people who are doing it right now, and people who don’t have a problem with doing it, and don’t tell you it’s impossible. You’re going to be able to do it, you’re going to be able to start a seven figure company, an eight figure company, and you’re going to be able to learn a hard skill, likes sales.
We tested this out in the daily business hustle, by having members who have gotten sales through cold calling, which is a really hard skill to learn. We got them to explain how they did it. They told us the story of their first sale, their first twenty, thirty deals and sales.
One week after, other new members started to get sales as well. Two weeks after, more new members started getting sales as well. This has been tested, this works really really well, proving to people what you’re doing works, and gets them to do it.
Even if it seemed impossible, for years and years, suddenly it becomes possible. Surround yourself with people who are doing it, who have done it in the past, surround yourself with people who have developed the habit, and you’re going to achieve success in your business, and whatever else you’re doing in your life.
You could implement this right now, you could find a friend who has this process developed in their business, spend some time in their office, spend some time talking to them. Join a master mind with people who’re doing this, and you’ll find that these new skills come naturally. That these skills, as long as you do your work, will be incorporated into your business .If you any questions, comment down below.
